The University of
Southern California's
Modular Kitchen
Complex
by Kitchens To Go. |
The University of Southern California in Los Angeles required a new campus student union facility. Prior to beginning a major renovation program, the University had the challenge of supplying a full service dining area on campus. The strict building codes of Los Angeles and the need for a semi-permanent structure necessitated comprehensive research and planning.
Kitchens To Go and its strategic alliance partner, Sprung Instant Structures, provided a successful solution to meet production needs of the University along with a long-term, temporary facility. In three and one-half months, the team transformed a parking lot into a turn-key, high quality student dining establishment. The project was completed in the University’s time frame and within its budget constraints.
