The Client

The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King in Madison, Wisconsin is an impressive complex which includes four licensed nursing care buildings, cottages for independent married couples, chapels, bowling alley, post office, theater, museum and library.

The Need

This formidable 700-plus bed Wisconsin nursing facility was planning to undertake a major renovation project which included the kitchen, preparation and storage areas. The administrators were looking to provide uninterrupted foodservice to their population.

The Kitchens To Go Solution

Kitchens To Go provided a modular complex solution. This free-span kitchen, preparation and dishwashing area was attached to the facility by a covered walkway for ease of movement and service.
