Camp Takajo is a 7-week boys' sleep-away camp, which accommodates 650 campers and staff. The camp contacted us in early 2004, when their kitchen burned down and threatened to close the camp during the season for the first time since it first opened in 1947

Upon evaluating their particular situation, it became apparent that a modular commercial kitchen complex was the appropriate solution.

The Modular commercial kitchen complex would be comprised of a 30'x 56' kitchen, preparation, and washing package, along with including the necessary cold and dry storage needed to run the camp for the 2004 season. Not only were these units on the road within two days, but they were also painted Takajo brown to blend in with the rest of the camp.
