The Client

Aventura Hospital and Medical Center is a 407-bed acute care medical/surgical facility, providing award-winning inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, medical, surgical and cancer services to the communities of northeast Miami-Dade and southeast Broward County.

The Need

Aventura Hospital contacted Kitchens To Go in anticipation of a major renovation project being planned involving the hospital’s ventilation system. The challenge was to provide uninterrupted foodservice to patients, visitors, and staff.

The Kitchens To Go Solution

KTG provided an innovative five-modular complex including a cooking module with an extensive cook line, three preparation modules, a dishwashing area, and three walk-in coolers and one walk-in freezer. This complex allowed the foodservice staff to continue.
